David King

IBM Software Architect David King designs IT systems for IBM’s largest customers using SOA techniques. Dave has worked for IBM for 22 years and served as an IT architect in various parts of IBM’s Global Services and Software businesses. He is a true SOA evangelist.  He is a member of the Worldwide Institute of Software Architects and holds IT Architect certifications from IBM and The Open Group.

Ross Emerton is currently Director of Fusion Middleware Solution Architecture for Oracle Consulting. He has over 20 years of experience in information technology, covering industry verticals of automotive, banking, securities, finance, manufacturing, government, chemical, agriculture, and healthcare. He is specialized in consulting with senior industry leaders, becoming their trusted advisor developing business-driven strategies and leading the delivery of complex solutions that allow those strategies to be realized.
Mr. Emerton has served in senior technical management positions for Atos Origin, Electronic Data Systems (EDS), IBM Global Services, Medaphis Corporation, Tellangon Associates, as well as senior consulting positions with NCR Corporation, Coopers & Lybrand LLP, and CTG/Zenius.
Adam Caplan
Software as a Service
 
Adam Caplan founded Model Metrics in January 2003 to leverage the tremendous value that web-based Software as a service provides, with a goal of bringing measurable benefit and enhanced analytics to for-profit and not-for-profit companies. He previously worked for Bain & Company and in the pharmaceutical industry, working in Latin America to develop key performance indicators surrounding profitability and sales. Adam earned his MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management and his undergraduate degree from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. He is a member of the Entrepreneurship advisory board at Kellogg.
